Dr. Suad AlFadhli

Prof. Suad AlFadhli, MLS(NCA), MSc, PhD, is a distinguished academic and researcher in Medical Laboratory Sciences with over 24 years of experience in education, research, and academic leadership. She has served as Acting President of Kuwait University (2022–2023), Dean of the Faculty of Allied Health Sciences (2018–2022), , and Chairperson of the Medical Laboratory Sciences Department. Internationally, she has been a professor and consultant at Qatar University and an external examiner at Sultan Qaboos University, in addition to her involvement with accreditation and professional certification bodies. A prolific scholar, she has authored over 76 peer-reviewed publications, contributed book chapters, and secured multiple research grants, notably establishing a medical genetics research laboratory at KU. Her research has earned her the KFAS award, and she continues to mentor graduate students and lead projects in genetics, autoimmunity, and AI applications in health. Beyond academia, she has played a key role in organizing international conferences, curriculum development, and community health initiatives, solidifying her reputation as a leader, innovator, and consultant in medical education and biomedical research.
